my tale

My story isn’t just about business success; it’s about resilience, adaptability, and the courage to keep moving forward when life gets tough. Like so many of you, I’ve faced the struggles of balancing career goals with family life, managing expectations, and confronting self-doubt. Yet, through it all, I’ve learned how to tap into my inner strength and use intentional strategies to not only survive but thrive. This experience drives my passion for helping others create lasting change.

I believe that every one has the ability to define success on their own terms. It’s not just about reaching goals — it’s about stepping into your full potential while honoring your values and life experiences.

I didn’t choose the easy path — honestly, I’m not even sure that was ever an option. My journey started with heartbreak and survival mode. In 2005, my marriage ended, and I found myself with four children to raise, zero savings, no home, and no backup plan. Just me, a whole lot of grit, and a fierce determination to keep going.

At 31, I was considered “overage” for many jobs. But giving up wasn’t on the menu. I started in commission-based sales — reflexology machines, of all things — and even managed to bag Rookie of the Month. But let’s be real: awards don’t pay bills. I moved on to work as a House Parent at DSWD, taking care of street children while spending many nights away from my own. That tore my heart, but I did what I had to do.

Eventually, I packed up and moved my family to Baguio for a fresh start. But life kept throwing curveballs: job loss, setbacks, unstable gigs. I wore every hat you can think of — tech support, virtual assistant, marketing manager, executive assistant. Every role was a step, every struggle a lesson. I learned to adapt, to lead, and to hustle smartly.

Then one day, someone saw something in me. That moment? It sparked everything. I built a team right from my house. That little dream? It turned into Your Virtual People. We outgrew my living room and moved into our own space in Clark Freeport Zone. It wasn’t magic, it was sweat, mistakes, small wins, and a mountain of persistence.

Now, I get to coach businesses, implement EOS®, and serve causes close to my heart — like The Everette and Austin Project, helping kids with Duchenne in Africa. Business is my tool, but impact is my why.

This isn’t just my tale. It’s proof that broken things can be rebuilt — stronger, better, bolder. I’ve lived it, and I’m just getting started.

Bare ‘n Bold

Let yourself shine.

Bare ‘n Bold started with one simple truth: life’s too short to play it small or fake it for anyone. After years of pushing through personal storms, job losses, hard resets, and countless pivots, I realized something deep — what really moves us forward isn’t perfection. It’s authenticity backed by guts.

This brand was born out of that realization. Not just to build a business, but to build a movement — where people can show up real, raw, and ridiculously bold. No filters. No fluff. Just unapologetic self-expression and the space to thrive.

Bare ‘n Bold is for the quiet rebels, the loud dreamers, the curious minds, the late bloomers, the change-makers, the overthinkers, and the ones still figuring it all out. It’s for everyone who’s ever felt the pull to be more of who they truly are — and less of who they’re expected to be.

Whether you’re in a boardroom, a bedroom, or building something big from your kitchen table — this is your permission slip to shine.

Let yourself shine. The world’s been waiting.
